I finally emptied my camera…
This shows how long it’s been… mother’s day cards (March!!!)

Three finishes… Tigger and Piglet, which I still need to frame

Victorian Sampler…

And a sampler from Cross Stitcher “Bothered”, or as mum calls it Bo the Red..

And I promised better pictures of Dream. So when we walked up there on Sunday I was good and took my camera..

And because I just love the colour… buttercups!

And last but not least, the obligatory honey shot, heh sounds like a porn term..

In the North East of England they have the Angel of the North. A large metal construction of an angel, which at a distance is rather pretty, close up is a big rust bucket.
So in competition… I give you…. the todger in the trees (click for the big one)…
(from the motorway)

In our infinite wisdom me and M decided to have a walk up to it. We didn’t get very far. It’s rather cold and wet today, and it was getting dark. So instead we decided to have another go over the weekend with Honey and the digital camera rather than my mobile phone.
The actual statue is called Dreaming (as opposed to giant penis with a face), and it’s the head of a young girl. It’s apparently a tribute to mining, but other than it being on the site of a now closed down colliery (which incidentally my boss demolished), it has nothing to do with mining at all.
Speaking of Honey, here’s two cute photos I found on my phone. One of her making herself all comfy, and the other attempting to give me a high-5 over the top of my laptop – or in other words move so I can get comfy again.

And pfft, they’re not stitching photos, but hey at least you got some pictures and a post, what more do you want? Blood?

I’ve lost my blogging mojo.
I’m still stitching, been making great progress on my Japanese Lady. Chiloe I know you said you can’t wait to see a picture…. well doll I’m not so sure – her full title is Japanese Lady in GREEN and it might just make you pass out!
I will get myself in order, I have three finished projects to take photos of.
I have all the pages on my site to fix, except that’s a little difficult for reasons I cba explaining to do with my pc being in the office, so I need to rethink and maybe ditch all the galleries I had and just put up the galleries of finished projects.
Anyhoo been majorly busy with work and probably the biggest show of the year. Going to post a link where you can see what I get up to, but going to password protect it.
Been getting major hassles from a bunch of morons through facebook lately, death threats the lot, grrrrrr… all from a stupid game. So whilst they could very easily gain the information from google, and they have no idea this site exists, there’s googling and there’s making stuff painfully easy for others to find.
Email me for the pword, or leave a comment and I’ll email you back with it – just make sure you fill it in with a valid email addy.

Yeah I know my template is in bits… still needs a lot of tweaking. Tomorrow maybe. It works, and that’s good enough for my tired brain. I also need to add a title, but I don’t have any fonts on this laptop, and not sure I cba downloading them, so may wait til Monday when I can hop onto my pc as it’s in the office.
I need to iron finished stitching pieces and take photos too.
I finished Victorian Sampler, and another sampler. I was going to work on Celtic Autumn but my needle paints have gone walk about. They’re in the house somewhere, and not thrown away, they’ll turn up. Instead I’ve picked up Japanese Lady in Green and am loving working on it so far. About 3/4 of the way through the first “page”.
ETA Scrap that, the alignment is screwed in ff and I can’t be bothered figuring out why right now. Therefore, if you want to read it load up IE and use that. kthxbai
